Having a problem with your cat scratching up your furniture or walls and need to provide something else for your cat to scratch on? Get a cat tower for your cat so it can use it instead of scratching up your furniture and walls. It can be difficult to get a cat to understand that scratching your furniture, carpet, and other objects is not allowed and many cat owners do not want to take away the cat’s claws. Look into all the options available to you when buying your tower because they come in many sizes and styles.
The first decision that will be necessary is what size furniture tower you will want. It is easy to select the right size tower if you only have one cat, but if you have more than one cat there are a lot of different sizes available to accommodate them. Most cat towers have cubby holes so your cat can climb in and take a nap when it feels like it as well as a scratching post. You can also find towers that are only used for giving your cat a place to sharpen its claws and play on.

Selecting the color of the tower will be your next decision. There are an awful lot of colors to choose from today because the makers of these towers realize that you will need something that goes with your decore. Because of the wide selection available you should have litte difficulty finding something to match the decor of your room. The color will provide a couple of different advantages for you. First it allows you to coordinate everything in your room. Second, your cat is able to accociate the different colors of your furniture and the tower and it will know what it is allowed to scratch and what it is forbidden to scratch.
Your final selection will be what type of material you want it to be made from.. There are several different types of material that comes wrapped around the tower that you may be interested in, so you will want to make sure that you get a material that you and your cat like in order to get the best experience possible.
So if you are fed up with your cat scratching up all your furniture or drapes, you probably should consider getting it a tower to play on. Your cat will be able to scratch the tower to its heart’s content without messing up anything in your home. Cat towers are a must if you have an indoor cat that still has its claws if you do not want to have everything in your home scratched up.
All cat owners want to do the best they can to please their pets and getting them something they can have hours of enjoyment with is always gratifying.
Cats will start playing with toys at the age of about three or four weeks and their enjoyment increases as they get older.
